Le groupe France Télévisions lancera début février Culturebox, une chaîne de télévision éphémère dédiée à la culture, au spectacle vivant et aux artistes, grâce au soutien du ministère de la culture et du CSA.
Face aux circonstances inédites provoquées par la crise sanitaire qui impose la fermeture des lieux culturels et l’annulation de la tenue des spectacles, Culturebox offrira quotidiennement au plus grand nombre, un accès direct et gratuit à la culture.
La chaîne proposera de nombreux concerts, spectacles de théâtre et de danse, festivals captés ces toutes dernières années à Paris, au cœur des régions et en Outre-mer. Elle diffusera chaque semaine un spectacle inédit ; ainsi que des rendez-vous quotidiens avec les acteurs du monde de la culture.
La chaîne sera accessible sur tous les écrans, notamment sur le bouquet de la TNT (elle devrait être diffusée sur le canal 19) et ce jusqu’à la réouverture de tous les lieux de culture. Elle sera gratuite et sans publicité.
